In Saudi Arabia, NAVER LABS is helping to establish a digital twin platform for smart city development, setting new global standards through extensive city simulations.
Another key technology is location recognition. Visual Localization, NAVER’s proprietary positioning technology, can accurately pinpoint a location using just a single photograph—even indoors, where GPS is unavailable—in under 0.3 seconds. This innovative technology functions accurately even in complex spaces and dynamic environments. Built on this is ARC eye, an AI-based Localization system developed on the NAVER Cloud Platform which enables precise location recognition for applications in AR, robotics, autonomous driving, and many other areas.
