The Tech Convergence exhibition is held on the 2nd floor of NAVER 1784, the world’s first robot-friendly building. This exhibition is divided into two sections: the Digital Twin and the Robot section.

ROBOT
Introduction
NAVER has been focusing on advancing technology that enables the coexistence of people and robots in everyday spaces. At the core of such technology is the cloud, operated in our data centers, and which serves as the brain for robots. Robots are interconnected with spatial and service infrastructures, efficiently controlled, and simultaneously upgraded with new algorithms to become smarter.
ARC System
NAVER’s cloud robot system is called “ARC.” It consists of ARC brain which controls, manages, and monitors robots and ARC eye which provide robots with location and route information. In 1784, service robots connected to ARC via 5G offer many services including the delivery of packages, coffee, lunch boxes, and even convenience store orders. NAVER plans to expand the robots service ecosystem through ARC mind, the web-platform-based robot OS.
AROUND, an Autonomous Robot Platform
NAVER’s autonomous robots can safely navigate complex everyday spaces by utilizing the digital twins designed for robots, instead of having to add more sensors. The digital twins created by M1 and M2 enable AROUND to smoothly execute indoor autonomous driving only with the basic sensors required for obstacle avoidance, thereby reducing production costs while demonstrating outstanding performance.
Mini-Cheetah and AMBIDEX
Mini-Cheetah, developed in collaboration with MIT, is now one of the world’s most renowned quadruped robots. AMBIDEX, the dual-armed robot created with KOREATECH, has received much attention from robot engineers for its innovative force transfer mechanism. Much more research is ongoing at 1784, a massive testbed where we connect robots, people, and spaces.
Tech Convergence
Digital twins are connected to robots via the NAVER CLOUD Platform. With this process, all of our robots share a massive brain and become increasingly smarter. NAVER seamlessly merges the real and digital worlds through digital twins, robots, and the cloud.
